Losing weight is hard, both in will power and, well, hard work. It takes time, dedication and effort. But it doesn’t have to take masses of pain to shed the pounds that you want to. You don’t have to run 10k everyday, or swim 40 lengths before breakfast.

Even something as simple as walking can really help you lose the weight that you are looking to. Expert say that if we were to walk for just 30 minutes everyday then obesity would be a thing of the past.

Which makes it the perfect way for anyone to start of a weight loss regime. It is as easy, or hard, as you want it to be, whilst also providing the calorie burning needed to ensure that fat is burn as energy.

So how do you get started?

Well, rather obviously you get out there and walk! Now whilst that sounds flippant you should give it some real thought. You don’t need to choose a gym, or buy a treadmill. Nor do you need to find a swimming pool you feel comfortable in. All you need to do is do what you do everyday anyway, walk.

It can be as simple as walking down the shops and back everyday. Or maybe you want to plan out something more scenic such as a walk around the park, or a trip into the mountains.

Thats the beautiful thing about walking for weight loss, it can fit into your regime, your day plan. You can walk down the shops as part of your daily routine of buying bread and milk, you can walk across the mountains if you like your weekends to be filled with beauty – you can even walk when window shopping if retail therapy is your thing!

All you need to do is make sure you are pumping out thirty minutes energetic walking everyday, in whatever manner you want, and the pounds will soon start to drop off.
